The 99 Cents Only Stores was an iconic discount retailer with over 350 store locations across 4 states.

As a designer at Meaningful Works, I helped lead and executed projects from start to finish including marketing campaigns, collateral & OOH, photography and brand activations to ensure brand cohesion and recognition as this legacy brand was going through a revamp.

We opened stores, designed anything and everything from a price sticker to an email and even invented a holiday — “9/9 Day”, breaking a Guinness World Record at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena.
